Keepsake is built by Atelier du Toit. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the app, how it is used, and what choices you have.

What we collect

Keepsake is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not run servers that store your photos, recordings, or videos.

• Photos and videos — accessed only when you explicitly import them. They remain on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Camera and microphone — used only during a recording session, within the app. Recordings are saved to your local storage or Photos library.
• Location — requested when you begin recording, to add a location card to your exported video. Location data is used momentarily and is not stored or transmitted to us.
• Purchase receipts — processed by Apple's App Store. We do not see your payment information.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics.
• We do not have accounts, logins, or user profiles.
• We do not sell, share, or transmit any of your data to third parties.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or tracking libraries.

Third-party services

Keepsake uses Apple's StoreKit framework to handle purchases. Purchases and subscription status are managed by Apple under their own privacy policy. We receive only a verified entitlement signal — we never see your payment details, Apple ID, or billing information.

Weather information is fetched using Apple's WeatherKit at recording time, subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Keepsake is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
